Course Cost: £140.00

Duration: 1 day. This may be a shorter day if teaching 1-2-1

Qualification Title:  Certificate in Crystal Healing Therapy
Accredited With: Guild
CPD Points: 9

Age Requirements: 18+

Prior Knowledge Requirements:  None

Many of our courses are suitable for complete beginners, others do require you to have previous knowledge or prior qualifications, which we can provide.

This course is intended for beginner and qualified therapists who feel crystal therapy could help them in their work, or who want to add an additional treatment to their menu. This course is accredited through the Guild, enabling practitioners to obtain necessary insurances.

The course will include the history of crystal therapy, types of precious stones and crystals, uses, effects, chakra balancing, cleansing, charging and programming. All equipment is provided.
Our aim is to provide you with sufficient knowledge and confidence to offer crystal therapy healing; pre-reading is a requirement to give you some underpinning knowledge, so your training day is mostly practical. After, you will need to do 3 case studies, (3 clients 3 times), in your own time, but we are always on hand for help and advice.

Kit Requirements: For most courses, all equipment & products are supplied, but we can help you purchase a working kit for use after training.
Courses that require students to purchase a kit prior to training include Dermaplaning, Henna Brows, Acrylic & Hard Gel Nail Systems, Lash Extensions and Semi-Permanent Mascara. We recommend you purchase electrical equipment such as L.E.D., Microdermabrasion and Microcurrent beforehand so we can work with it for training.

Course Structure

Most of our courses follow a similar structure. Theory is sent out in advance of the practical training for pre-reading, or may be online, which covers anatomy and physiology, health and safety, business management, and subject-related theory including:-

• Client consultation and assessment
• Completion of important documentation
• Explanation of the treatment
• Agreeing the treatment
• Reasons not to treat (contra-indications)
• Things that can go wrong (contra-actions)
• Aftercare advice
• Future treatment needs
• Client preparation
• Salon and working area preparation
• Safe working techniques including all hygiene measures
• Compliance with Industry and Legal Codes of Practice

There will be home study and written tasks to complete, ideally before your practical training.

You will be required to complete and write up practical case studies, which should be submitted via email upon completion.

Certificates are issued within 14 days of all course requirements being met.

All EABT courses are accredited with the Guild or Associated Beauty Therapists, though courses taught for other training providers may be accredited through others.
