Generally, theory is sent out in advance when the course is booked and paid for. There will be some written requirements which you can complete, but if you need help, this will be provided as necessary. After your training day(s) you will most likely need to complete case studies; these will involve you practising your new skills on clients, which you will write up and send to us via email. You may need to return to complete a final assessment. All of the courses vary slightly as to what you need to do, but this will be explained to you beforehand. All skills are taught on live models; we don't use practice heads or other such equipment, as they are not adequate to learn properly. You may need to provide your own model for some courses, or if preferred, who will need to be patch-tested for allergies to chemical treatments.
